In the beginning
In the year 1899, a group of dedicated Christian missionaries from Britain dedicated their lives to establish christianity in the Hausaland of Nigeria. The group of five committed and dedicated christians, lead by Bishop Jugwell set out from Britain on their missionary journey to Nigeria. After much rejections, they prayed and resolved on 24th of August 1900 (St. Bartholomew's Day)to establish their missionary work through a church, school and hospital. Their activities soon grew into what is now the Anglican Diocese of Wusasa.Click here for details
